Green certificates
BREEAM certificate
It is an international certification system issued by an external institution. It confirms the application of sustainable solutions in the areas of environmental, social and economic impact.
There are five certification levels: “pass”, “good”, “very good”, “excellent” and “outstanding”.
The certificate covers various areas related to the environment. Its categories assess energy and water consumption, health and well-being, pollution, transport, location, access to services, materials used, waste management, land use, ecology and management processes.
LEED Certificate
Green Horizon has been LEED Gold certified since 2011. This certification takes into account energy efficiency and being eco- and user-friendly. So you can be sure that we save costs, water and energy, use materials and resources sustainably, and that the working conditions at Green Horizon ensure well-being.
Certification has four levels: Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
How did we get to gold? We don’t know for sure, but we have some guesses. The clues point to natural light in Green Horizon’s spaces, energy-efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems – including using warm air from the offices to heat the garages – or the use of green energy. We look forward to sharing these (and many more) sustainability achievements with you!
What does this mean for you?
These certifications are not just pieces of paper. If you work at Green Horizon, you experience their benefits daily, with all five senses:
Apart from the obviously positive impact on the environment, your wellbeing, comfort and convenience, these also translate into less:
